Vigo snarled, threw out his arms, broke the streams, and unleashed a pulse of energy. The Ghostbusters fell to the ground and were immobilized. Ray confirmed he could not then asked Egon if he could. Egon stated he could not then asked Peter how he was.

The Fizz Cola sign references "Jailbusters" when Winston was lured to a Fizz commercial shoot and to a giant sign on the building next to the animated version of the Firehouse throughout the series. On Page 14, Halliwell from "Masquerade" appears to the left of the ghosts. On Page 2, the door knocker of the Doomsday Door from "Knock, Knock" sans nose ring appears on one of the doors. A portrait of the melting clock dimension from "The Cabinet of Calamari" hangs in the hallway. In "Ghost Apocalyptic Future," Eduardo mentions the Ghost of Christmas Past and Future when Egon classifies Tempus. The original team encountered these 2 ghosts in "Xmas Marks the Spot".

Winston gives John one of their business cards before they go. Another ghost causes trouble in the mansion. When the Ghostbusters arrive, they mistakenly try to bust Horace, who is unaware of the fact that he has now become a ghost.
Setting
Egon countered she was influencing their situation. The Ghostbusters battled Tiamat, stripped her P.K.E. away with multiple Trap-Gates, and trapped her. The Interspatial Teleportation Unit activated and got the 101 pilot team stirring. Zoe noted they've been gone "forever." Egon 68-E begged to differ and didn't think a week was hardly forever.
He asked Ray what he had actually seen so far. Peter reacted as if he probably heard that story for the umpteenth time and countered the sponges migrated about a foot and a half. Roger Delacorte, a library administrator, walked up behind them and introduced himself. Peter took the lead and introduced himself as "Dr. Venkman," Ray as "Dr. Stantz," and Egon as "Egon." Roger shook Peter's hand then Ray's, and Egon nodded once.

On Page 5, in panel 2, the frames on the wall have scenes from the movies such as Louis Tully as Ghostbuster in Ghostbusters II. On Page 13, in panel 4, the note on the computer references Louis Tully. On Page 41, the episode seen in Ghostbusters II is revealed to be the 32nd and penultimate one. On Page 19, in panel 2, left of Egon's boots is "Thai Mexican," two ideas Egon proposed to Ray for take out as they analyzed the photographs of Vigo in the second movie. On Page 19, in panel 2, to the upper left of Egon is his "Epidiymus" line in the second movie.

As co-creators, Reitman, Murray, Aykroyd, and Ramis all had control over the franchise, and their unanimous approval was required to proceed. Zuul leaves the Farmhouse in the form of a pink energy wisp like when the ghosts are released from the Containment Unit in the first movie. Ghostbusters: Afterlife (
Unable to trap Zuul, he hid the Trap containing Vinz in a secret space in the floor of his study at the Farmhouse. Several days later, Egon's ghost led his granddaughter Phoebe to it. Raphael refused to let Ray shoot his body to liberate it and took control. He hoped Ray's joints weren't as old as he looked. After the Ghostbusters procured the Rauoskinna, Ray and Kylie spent the next day and a half quickly going through it and tearing out relevant pages to sort as soon as possible. Ray hoped he would find something that could let them zero in on whatever dimensional sub-pocket Egon might be stored in by Loftur. He suspected the physical book was the real key to the spells much like a magic wand.
He is one of the three doctors of parapsychology on the team, and Peter's closest friend. The Manager stiffened up and refused to pay them $5000. The Manager stuffed his handkerchief back in his suit pocket. Peter told him that was all right and they could just put it right back in there. He ran up to Ray and grabbed his arm then stated he would pay anything. Peter thanked the manager and handed him the bill, patted his arm, and walked down the hall with Ray close behind. Ray shouted thank you and hoped they could help the hotel again.
On Page 7, In panel 2, the cardboard box atop the white locker now references Kenner's Fire Station Headquarters playset. On Page 1, on panel 1, the ghost is visually based on the Soar Throat Ghost from the Fright Features Egon Spengler figure. In panel 3, the woman is using a Proton Pack visually based on the Kenner's Proton Pack toy.

The Ghostbusters soon started shooting up the orphanage. Ellen felt it and fled upstairs with Holtzmann. Egon 68-R stated no matter which Peter said, "I'm gonna try something else", he always felt uneasy about that. After a spectral drought, the Ghostbusters of Dimension 68-E disbanded. Egon 68-E taught a college course for several years.
Primary Canon
Vigo was forcibly propelled back into the painting but he entranced Ray. Egon told Ray they would like to shoot Vigo and asked him to move. Ray turned around to reveal he was possessed by Vigo and transmogrified to resemble his true ghost form. Vigo proclaimed he shall rule the earth and told the Ghostbusters to be gone, calling them pitiful half-men. Winston slimed Ray and exorcised Vigo out of him.
